How to Answer the Question Why do you want to change jobs

How to Answer the Question Why do you want to change jobs In your quest to land that great job, there are many things you need to do.From searching job boards, writing the perfect resume, practicing for the interview etc. There’s   a lot to be done. The interview is the last step. It’s what stands between you and the job. Failing to perform well in the interview means you’re not moving forward. Either from your current job which you want to leave or from your state of joblessness.Interviewers know that you want the job and are willing to prove it. They will ask you many questions in an effort to find out whether you’re really the right candidate for the position. And some of those questions can be tricky to answer. Whereas you think the answer you give is what they’re looking for, they might actually be looking beyond your answer. One such question is the one about your reason for leaving your current job. If you’re currently not working, you might be asked why you left your last job.Either way, there’s something the interviewer is seeking to know.THE REAL REASON YOU’RE ASKED WHY YOU WANT TO CHANGE JOBSThis question is a big one. And when asked, try to see beyond the question. In this article, we give you the thinking behind the question so you know what possible answers mean. We’ll tell you what to avoid saying and afterwards advice you on what should guide your response.Interviewers can’t read your mind and obviously can’t fully trust the answers you give.As such, they have to dig for information so as to be able to make the best decision for the company. With this question, let’s look at two conclusions the interviewers may make based on your answers. You are a ComplainerIf someone asked you whether you are a whiner, what would you say? No?Of course you’re well prepared and even know how to paint the right image. You have the right body language and your answers are impressive. But what are some of your negative traits? One rule of thumb when asked this question is that you should never be negative .When you give the impression that your job is a bad one, that means you complain about it. Being that in an interview you’re definitely controlling yourself, what happens when you’re more free? The company with a vacancy must ask itself what you’ll be saying about it when with friends. That’s important because there is nothing as powerful as the word of mouth. If people tell one another how bad a company is, then that can only result in bad business.Repairing a damaged business reputation is not easy. So if you’re the kind of employee who would be quick to complain, you’re easily seen as a liability. Will the interviewer pick a liability for the open position? You are a Problematic EmployeeIt is widely known and has been proven through research that employees don’t quit jobs. They quit managers. If you have previously quit a job, you probably did so due to issues with your boss. However, from the manager’s perspective, you might be the problem. Source: Compensation CaféYes, this may not be the case and the research cited above proves it.But if you have never gotten to understand the workplace from a manager’s perspective, you may not get the whole picture. It’s true that many managers need training and even a change of strategy in how they handle employees. Some organizations are smart enough to put in the effort and cultivate the right culture.Still, understand that your interviewer is most likely a manager in the company you’re interviewing in.The lenses through which she looks at you are not necessarily those of your peers. She is likely looking for someone who will work hard and give the goals of the company a place in his heart. Moreover, even in an organization where people are treated well, you’ll still not be taken simply because you seek a better work environment.Your interviewer must ensure that you’re not going to be the one spoiling the party at their organization. So, if your answer gives even the slighte st hint that you could be a problem, you’re likely to get no response. Or if you do, it might be a regret letter.WHAT TO AVOID SAYINGThere are certain words or phrases you should never allow yourself to make. No matter how bad your boss or job is, you should steer clear of being open about it.Your interviewer is not your friend who will empathize with you and encourage you that all will be well. She is on a business mission. She seeks to fill a position with the employee who will bring maximum benefit to the company. So what should you not say?Anything that is exactly like the below or related in a way is to be avoided.“I don’t like my job”You’ve heard that you should be honest during an interview. That’s trueâ€"you should never lie during an interview as it can lead to termination even if you get hired.Dishonesty is a big concern for many companies.Besides, it’s not a good trait to have. And if it’s strong enough, it can spread from you to others. But honesty, especial ly in an interview should be practiced with wisdom. You should not just be open about everything in your effort to show honesty. As mentioned, the interviewer is out on a mission. If you say you’re leaving your current job since you don’t like it, several questions come to mind. You’ll need to explain that. And since those interviewing you are very keen to hear the reason, you’ll just have stirred their interest in finding out more.Leaving your current job because you don’t like it implies that you’re not a loyal employee. You’re just looking for a place where you’ll be comfortable. In the event that comfort reduces, you’ll not hesitate from moving again. The interview process is costly for companies. And if they see the possibility of a hiring cycle because you can leave at the slightest discomfort, then they would rather not consider you.No interviewer will spend too much time trying to figure out the real truth. They don’t have the luxury of time. So what they’l l do is take your answer, and maybe your explanation, then make conclusions from it.Remember that this is not your friend who is all positive about you. In an interview, you have the responsibility of convincing strangers that you’re the best.“My colleagues are difficult to work with”Granted, there are people who are simply difficult to work with. Those might be the kind of people you’ve had to deal with for the period you’ve been in your current job. But the interviewer doesn’t know that and doesn’t have the time to hear the details so as to prove it. And even if you tell her all the details, she has only heard your side of the story. How sure is she that you’re being honest?Today, there is a lot of emphasis on teamwork and that is for a good reason. Projects are completed on time and general productivity increases with teamwork.Your interviewer will seek to find out how much of a team player you are. If you’re like many job seekers, you have said in your resume t hat you are a team player. Does your answer to this question prove otherwise? If you are truly a team player, challenges in working with people aren’t the biggest problem for you.You have likely developed a way of managing the differences between you and them and are able to get the job done. This is more critical if the position you’re interviewing for is in management or any form of leadership like supervisor. If therefore working with your current colleagues is difficult, could it be that you’re the difficult employee? Could it be that you’re too rigid and would only like things to be done your way?“I just don’t like my boss”This is one of the worst things you can say about your current or former boss. You may not even be asked to explain much and your explanation may even make things worse.First of all, a negative comment about your current boss is not wise.Bosses are often the same in many ways. One of those ways is in their desire for your loyalty. If you don’t li ke your boss but you’re working under him, are you sure you’re not working against him?In the ears of the interviewer, this answer could as well shout the words “saboteur.” You are not at all devoted to your work and that means you are a burden to your employer. How sure can the interviewer be that you’ll not soon dislike your prospective boss? And if you do, what will that mean for the team you’ll be working with and the entire company? Also, have you thought of the possibility that your interviewer could be a friend of your current boss? What is she to think of you making such a comment about her friend?Interviewers are humans too and they will seek to protect their friends even as they protect the company. If your interviewer knows your boss and you say something negative about him, you may not be proceeding beyond this particular interview.“My boss didn’t keep his promise of promoting me”This might be a genuine reason for wanting to change jobs. If you were promi sed a promotion but never got it, you definitely won’t be very happy. The question however is, why didn’t he honor his promise?Obviously, since you’re “hurting” from the broken promise, you are not considering your boss’ perspective. At the same time, the answer itself shows that you feel you are owed the promotion simply because it was a promise. That’s okay, but remember that promotions are given on merit. Is it possible that there was a condition tied to the promotion and you never fulfilled it to your boss’ satisfaction? That’s a very big possibility because any interviewer will assume that you never qualified for the promotion. This answer implies that you might be the kind of employee who’s only focused on the benefits. You are not focused as much on the work which needs to be done to get the benefits.“I have been given unrealistic and unachievable targets”Remember the rule of thumb that you should never be negative?Well, this possibly-true answer is full of negativity. It’s possibly true because there are industries where the competition is very high and a lot is demanded from the employees. All the same, the negativity is not excusable. If you view your targets as unrealistic, it means you don’t like them. You will therefore have no internal motivation to work towards them. But that’s not all. You also find the targets unachievable? If the targets were only unrealistic, you could decide to do whatever you could and give the results you got. But if you’ve decided that they are unachievable, your mind is not going to want to do anything about them.Candidates with a negative attitude towards work are rarely attractive to hiring managers. Their negativity results in them not being hired.“My job is no longer interesting”What is the definition of “interesting” according to you? Does the interviewer hold the same opinion? In case she doesn’t, and that’s the likelihood, then you’re on your own.It can be an unfortunate concl usion but this answer can be taken to mean that you’re not mature enough. Maturity comes with responsibility and the responsible person ensures that what he wants, he works towards.Translating that to the workplace, if your job is no longer interesting, then it’s your responsibility to make it interesting again. Either bring in what existed before or something new to make it interesting again. The bottom line is that you can’t abandon a responsibility simply because the process is not interesting. If you dedicate the time and effort, you can make your work interesting. This answer paints the picture of a potential complainer. You might be the kind of employee who expects the difficult work to be done for you. If your work is not simple and fun, then you’re not interested.Do you then have the right understanding of what work is all about? Are you aware that there is an effort to be put in before you enjoy good results?“I’m not being paid what I deserve”Pay and benefits a re often the reason why many seek to change jobs. You work somewhere for a certain period and expect that you’ll rise up the ranks. With the rise, you’ll get a better pay as well as more benefits. What if that doesn’t happen? This is quite like the answer about being promoted. And with the word “deserve” in the sentence, you show that you’re actually being mistreated. Maybe even abused. Your rights are being infringed on.Anything which you deserve is something you should be getting, right? The big question is, from whose perspective are you talking? In any organization, the person who determines what you deserve to be paid is either HR or your immediate manager. The HR might set a standard based on the market while your immediate manager might propose a figure based on your skills or contribution to the team. This answer however doesn’t provide the input of your HR or immediate manager. It then becomes difficult to be sure whether you truly deserve the pay you’re talking about.HOW TO ANSWER THE QUESTION RIGHTIn reading the above responses to the question about changing jobs, what do you conclude?Among your conclusions, you might have realized that your choice of words matters. And for your choice of words to have an element of truth and flow well with your body language, you need to have some answers as a guide on how to respond to the question.Remember that interviews are supposed to be conversational. Do not choose one answer and memorize it. Rather, use these as guides and see how to apply them to your own situation.“I’m looking for new challenges”One of the ways growth and progress comes is through being stretched. The most common way for you to be stretched is by handling challenges. When your current job is no longer challenging, you might become apathetic. This is especially if you’re the kind of person who loves solving problems. So instead of telling your interviewer how your job has become boring, try telling her that you’re looking f or more challenges.“I want career growth”Just as challenges get you to grow, you can also desire career growth through available openings. Maybe your current employer doesn’t have any available higher positions. For example, you might be working as a branch manager in a retail chain. You joined the company as a cashier and have risen up the ranks to head an outlet.Being the branch manager, there are only two people above you. They are the regional manager and the managing director, who is the business owner. In such a situation, there may be no room for a promotion. The only thing you’re getting is more benefits and an annual bonus for hitting targets. You can then tell your interviewer that you’re looking for opportunities for career growth.“I want to learn new skills”You may feel that you want to do something a bit different. Maybe you just rediscovered an interest you forgot you had.Deciding to pursue it, you realize that you’ll need an enabling environment. You’ll need to learn the skills required so as to be good in your new interest. You’ll also need a place to apply the skills. The answer you give here will have to show the connection between your new interest and the position you’re interviewing for. This way, you can show that your desire for new skills is what drives your decision to move.“I want to apply my new skills in this position”In other cases, you may have acquired new skills which are not applicable to your current position. Maybe it’s a situation like the one mentioned above where you recently discovered an interest. You went ahead and did some courses and graduated. Since you want to make use of these new skills, you looked for a job that gives you such an opportunity.During the interview, you can give this reason. While doing so, you’ll also have to explain why you decided to pursue an interest which isn’t aligned to your current job.You could say that you love your current job and pursuing this new interest did not interfere in any way with your job.And maybe to prove it, despite the new interest existing for some years before giving it considerable attention, you had done courses related to your current job.You also paid for the courses yourself, graduated and implemented the new skills to the company.“I want more responsibilities”Still on growth, you can say that you want to grow through having more responsibilities. In giving this answer, you’ll have to show that you have previously handled responsibilities well.If you’ve already been asked about a time in your life when you showed leadership, you can reference that answer if it’s work related. But to increase your chances, use another example but connect it with the one already mentioned. That will serve to remind the interviewer about your leadership skills. Moreover, with this answer, you’ll be showing that you’re capable of more. You are thus a potential asset to the company if they pick you.“I like this company”You can also decide to focus on the company you’re interviewing for and not your current job. This can be a great answer, especially if the interview is going well.Take this opportunity to speak some good things about the company you’re hoping to join. Use the information you gathered during your research to show that you know the company and are basing your decision on facts. Some of the things you can base your answer on is the direction the company is taking. You can also mention some of the achievements they have and connect that to your interest.Just make sure you don’t sound like you’re only looking for greener pasture. Remember to show that you will be adding value to the company upon being hired.“There are pending layoffs”Due to high competition, many mergers and acquisitions happen. In worse cases, companies get shut and employees become jobless. If this happens and you’re about to become jobless, you can be honest about it. If the information about your company is in the public domain, it becomes easier and more reasonable to say this.Still, do not fail to say something good about your current job. Let it be known that you are a positive employee who can contribute to a great workplace culture.“The company is restructuring”At times, mergers and acquisitions won’t cause joblessness but some restructuring. Restructuring can also be as a result of other measures the company is taking to remain competitive. The management at your current job could have decided to change people’s roles or move them to different offices.Whatever the case, this is also an acceptable reason to give. While remaining positive, show how the restructuring is going to affect you. Help your interviewer understand that in changing jobs, you’re just seeking to remain true to your career interests.“I’m seeking a better work-life balance”This is a big answer that despite being acceptable, needs to be framed well.If you are being interviewed by Gen Xers, then the term work-life balance will strike a chord with them. Gen Xers, or Generation X, are the people born between 1965 and 1980.The idea of having a balance between work and other aspects of life is important to this generation. And if you can show how you believe in it, especially if you are not a Gen Xer yourself, you can gain some points.CONCLUSIONBeing asked why you’re changing jobs is normal. Since the question will surely come up, it’s best to be prepared for it. From among your reservations with your current employer, pick one and adapt any of these answers to it.Remember the rule of thumb: do not be negative. Always say something positive about your employer, whether current or past.

Essay about Buddhist Religion Experience Personal Narrative

I was always fascinated in the Buddhist religion and this class assignment was a great opportunity for me to take advantage of my curiosity. I decided I would visit a Buddhist center. With the company of my mother, I went to the Diamond Way Buddhist Center in Miami. According to my interview with the Buddhist that instructed the meditation service, every Monday and Friday they have a meditation service for the 16th Karmapa meditation from 8:00pm to 8:30pm. This center is part of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism (Anonymous). Upon arriving, I realized that it was in someone’s home. To the right was the picture of the founder of Diamond Way Buddhism centers, Lama Ole Nydahl, and the founder’s wife who had passed away. The instructor explained to us that Nydahl was a very inspirational and motivational Buddhist who was currently on tour all over the world for Buddhist teaching purposes (Anonymous). We waited a little while to see if others would arrive to the service since it had just been me and my mother present at this service. The instructor explained to us that Monday nights were not as popular as Friday nights. After 15 minutes where no one arrived, the instructor decided to commence the service. Being the only two at the service was quite beneficial because we got one on one attention from the Buddhist instructors, which gave us more time for questions. Before we began our meditation, I informed the Buddhist teacher that I was there for a religious studies course assignment. He then gave me a quick review on Buddhism and Buddhist practices. Online Learning The APUS Way Free Essays

Today’s generation is one where competition in the workforce is stiff and where academic degrees oftentimes put an individual a cut above the rest. The constantly changing employment opportunities and work requirements push people to use whatever available resources they have just to gain the upper hand from a flock of aspiring applicants for several job positions. Experience and education can come in handy during rare occasions when good employment opportunities come knocking at one’s door. We will write a custom essay sample on Online Learning: The APUS Way or any similar topic only for you Order Now That is especially true in today’s time where America is facing one of the most troubling economic crises in history, a crisis which is spreading in the different parts of the world and, thus, causing job losses on a massive scale (Landler, 2008). I am attending college so that I can be able to harvest the rewards of having an academic degree aside from experience that I already have. While APUS is something entirely new on my part, I think of my situation as a chance to broaden my horizons. I think of my future experiences in APUS as events in my life that can help enlighten my understanding of the world and the ways to handle ordinary to complex situations in this modern time. I think of myself as a child eager to learn and comprehend the things that are yet to be known. What greater source of delight, satisfaction and wonder can there be than a learning institution willing to teach individuals the things that matter to them in this highly competitive world? In the coming months, I hope to gain new insights with regard to my chosen field. This is a point in my life where I am more than willing and more open than ever before to new knowledge. Part of my hopes also include my desire to communicate with other people more effectively because I view human interaction through whatever means necessary as an indispensable tool in shaping the course of our lives. The person living in deep isolation and allergic towards new information can only go as far as the limits of his shallow understanding of the world. Like the prisoners in Plato’s cave allegory, people should step out of their comfort zones and explore the world filled with new knowledge that need to be learned (Kanazawa, 2003). Through APUS, I am anticipating personal discoveries that I never knew are parcels of who I am. Of course, the answer to the question of who I am roughly depends in context. Nevertheless, I know myself as a person who is computer literate and who is able to easily grasp the many different sides to modern technology. Studying in a technological age will require some of the interests which I hold—my interests in the usefulness of the internet, in the advantages made possible by online learning and in the benefits of acquiring a degree that other people can hardly attain. Gone are the days of typewriters and snail mail; this is the age of information technology, and what better thing to do than to seek the best information through the modern learning tools provided by APUS. In order to be successful in my academic endeavor in APUS, I have to maintain my high level of interest apart from the fact that I need to keep-up with the pace of online learning. Since distance is no longer a critical issue in online learning, all I need to do to further attain my personal success with my academic pursuit is to allocate time and resources to my new experiences in APUS. Like any other task, my studies in APUS will certainly involve several challenges along the way. One challenge is the idea that I may face certain learning modules that I barely know which I am prompted to familiarize myself with. Despite such challenge, I know that I can overcome that ordeal because I will not let my drive to learn to reach a low point. Unfamiliar lessons and modules may come in my way, but these things are just forks in the road which I need to accept as parts of the learning process. References Kanazawa, S. (2003). Third Cubicle On The Right Essays - , Term Papers

Third Cubicle on the Right The doors open, you step off the elevator. You pass the vending machines, coffee makers and a box of glazed donuts. Veering to the left, you enter the array of cubicles from wall to wall. Something catches your eye. He's young, really young and he has his own desk here at Bell Helicopter Textron. No way you think to yourself, he must be somebody's kid playing on the computer. To be sure, you approach him and introduce yourself. As the two of you converse he tells you that he is an intern and will start at Texas AHe also mentions that this is his cubicle and he actually helps design certain parts of the helicopters on the CAD (Computer Aided Design) system. You sit down as curiosity takes over. The conversation continues, describing how he got the job and internship. He states, how in high school, he filled out an application. As you listen to his testimony, a question starts to form subconsciously in your head. In the middle of his sentence you ask, ?How do you know mechanical engine ering is right for you He jokingly answers that it was the research paper. You take another sip of cappuccino and a small bite of the donut you snagged on your way in. For the next twenty-five minutes you drink your drink and eat your eats as this boy described the pathway for his future. It sounded something like this. Determining if this is the future for me or not is a difficult decision, due to the fact that this is the rest of my life we're talking about. I have contacted a few Bell employees and some that are not associated with the Bell program. During these interviews, I collected information from various databases including those off the Internet. Three I intervewed gave me both odds and ends of mechanical engineering (M.E.). Each of the three works in a different type or division of M.E. One orders necessary materials for every part of an aircraft. Another designs and constructs medical equipment. The third, tests materials under stress for the helicopters at Bell. The first of these interviews was with Mr. Jeff Moorse. Mr. Moorse is a Senior Engineer at Abbott Laboratories in Irving. Mr. Moorse is one of the head designers of medical equipment. Mr. Moorse was the easiest to talk to. He has great communication skills. He answered every question and left nothing unanswered. He stated that communication is the essential factor in his line of business. When you design something, you cannot make it perfect by yourself. You need outside input to help complete a design. The only way that is possible is through communication. If you cannot complete an idea or explain what you are looking for you will never have a completed project. Mr. Moorse also included another important element in success, education. Mr. Moorse received a bachelor's degree in M.E. from Buffalo University in New York. He then moved to Irving and received a Masters in Business Administration at University of Dallas at night. The CAD system currently at Abbott Labs is a different ve rsion than that of Bell's. Mr. Moorse was very enjoyable to talk to. I interviewed him at a cross-country meet so the interview was not set in a business setting. It was a very comfortable setting and atmosphere. The interview went quite well from my point of view. The next engineer was Mr. James Foster of Northrop Grumman. He is also an M.E. and his title is Staff Engineer. He's the guy who orders and researches every single material or product used on an airplane. Mr. Foster gave me a negative look at M.E. since he seemed unhappy. The interview was a telephone interview, which made me feel uncomfortable because I feel like I do not have the person's full attention. This was especially the case with Mr. Foster. He seemed unpleased with his schooling in that he feels that the university concentrated on subjects unneeded in his work force. He went on about UTA, where he received a bachelor's degree, implying that they emphasized only mechanics instead

The Best Currency Exchange Methods for Every Situation

The Best Currency Exchange Methods for Every Situation SAT / ACT Prep Online Guides and Tips If you’re planning a trip to another country, you’ve probably spent a lot of time thinking about the airline you’ll fly, the hotel or AirBnB you’ll stay in, the food you’ll eat, and the fun new things you’ll get to experience. You might not, on the other hand, have thought too much about how you’ll get money on your trip. Despite the fact that currency conversion is a decidedly less interesting travel topic than the best place to go zip-lining, it’s important to understand the costs associated with changing money. Currency exchange requires some time and effort, so it’s necessary to plan ahead or you risk getting stuck with heavy fees. In this article, I’ll cover the basics of how currency exchange works and what you should consider when deciding where and how to change money. How Currency Conversion Works If you’re traveling, sending money to another country, or buying, selling, or trading foreign currency, you’ll need to change your money from one currency to another in a transaction called a currency exchange. Currency exchange tells you what one country’s money is worth in terms of another country’s money. All currencies have different values, which change daily based on different factors like inflation, economic stability, and interest rates. When you exchange currency, you’re trading in a certain amount of money in one currency for the equivalent amount of money in another currency. Currency exchange rates aren’t fixed. Rather, they’re constantly changing. The rate at which you exchange two currencies one day may be different than the rate at which you exchange the same two currencies the next day. Because currency exchange rates change so often, it’s important to understand the best ways to buy, sell, and trade currencies so you get the best deal. Factors to Consider for Currency Exchange There are a lot of fees associated with currency conversion. Read on to learn the three factors that affect currency exchange fees so you can make sure you’re getting the best deal. #1: Explicit Fees Most methods that you’ll use to exchange money will come with a set, explicit fee. You can think about this fee as the cost of doing the business of currency exchange. For instance, you may have to pay a $30 fee to wire money from your bank to a foreign bank. Or, you may be charged a 1% fee to convert your currency at an airport currency exchange teller. Consider these fees when deciding where to exchange your money. A 1% fee may sound more attractive than a flat dollar amount, but could add up to more if you’re exchanging large amounts of money. #2: Conversion Rate Conversion rates almost always differ from the wholesale currency exchange rate. So, for instance, if the wholesale market is charging $1.10 USD per one euro, a bank or currency exchange company like Travelex may charge $1.105 or $1.110 USD per one euro. Again, while this deviation in conversion rate may seem small, it adds up, particularly if you’re exchanging a large amount of money. #3: Convenience The idea of convenience is more nebulous than conversion rates or explicit fees. Convenience is basically the value of your time and effort to exchange money. For instance, if your current bank charges $1.110 USD per one euro, and a different bank charges $1.105 per one euro, it’s probably not worth it to go to the different bank just to save $0.005. Similarly, you need to consider how accessible currency exchange is where you live. If your local bank will exchange currency, that's a solid option. However, if you need to travel three hours out of your way to find a bank that'll change your money, you may just want to wait to change money at the airport. You’ll want to weigh the value of comfort, ease, and convenience versus actual monetary savings. Best Currency Conversion Options In this section, I’ll detail the top currency exchange options for a number of different situations. Best Foreign Exchange Options While Traveling If you’re traveling, you’ll want to make sure changing currency is cheap and convenient. The best option is to withdraw cash as you go on your trip from ATMs. In this section, I’ll describe the most common currency exchange options for travelers. ATMs The most cost efficient way to exchange money in a foreign country is to withdraw money from an ATM. If you have a commonly accepted ATM card, like a Visa or Mastercard, you can likely withdraw money from a foreign ATM while traveling. ATMs are highly prevalent throughout the world and any country that receives even a small number of foreign tourists will have ATMs at least in the airport that you can withdraw cash from. However, there are some downsides to withdrawing from a foreign ATM. First, you can be slapped with fees if you withdraw from a foreign ATM. In addition to a small flat fee for using the ATM in the first place, you’ll likely have a foreign transaction fee that adds between 1-5% to the total amount of your withdrawal. Consider opening an account at a bank like Charles Schwab, for instance, that doesn't charge international transaction fees. Second, it can be difficult to find ATMs that accept U.S. debit cards in some places. While the vast majority of countries with tourists have numerous options for withdrawing cash, some rural or less well-traveled areas may not have cash readily available. You may want to bring some with you, just in case, or withdraw a larger amount when you do visit an ATM so you don't get stuck. Airport Kiosks Airport kiosks are convenient, ubiquitous, and, often, a huge ripoff. Airport kiosks often offer poor exchange rates and high fees for exchanging cash. However, you can use them as a last resort if you need cash on hand when you enter a country. Normally, you can either bring cash to exchange or withdraw cash from your ATM debit or credit card. If you have your ATM card with you, I'd recommend visiting an ATM rather than withdrawing from an airport kiosk. Credit Cards Credit cards are a solid option for paying for things you buy abroad without cash. There are tons of travel credit cards out there that don't charge international transaction fees, so if you can get one of those, I'd recommend using your credit card as much as possible. You can also commonly withdraw cash as a cash advance from your credit card. However, most credit cards charge cash advance fees and higher interest rates on cash withdrawals. If you decide to use your credit card abroad, I'd stick to using it on credit card transactions and withdraw money with your debit card instead. Cash Conversion Banks and credit unions often offer the most favorable conversion rates and limited to no fees if you exchange with a teller. Banks and credit unions, however, often exchange only widely used and popular currencies, such as the peso or the euro. If you’re looking for a less common currency, you might not be able to conduct a currency exchange at your bank. Before going to your bank, be sure to look up their currency exchange policies online or speak to a representative over the phone. You want to confirm that your branch a) actually offers currency conversion services, and b) carries the currency you need. Best Foreign Exchange Options for Sending Money to a Foreign Country Sending money to a foreign country can be expensive, with lots of hidden fees. In general, your best options are wire or online transfers, which often have flat fees. You can also use PayPal or Western Union if you have to, which charge a percentage fee. Wire/Online Transfers Wire transfers, which you can make in person or over the phone at a bank, or online transfers, which you can make using your online banking account, are the best options for sending money abroad. Most banks and credit unions only charge a small flat fee for wire transfers (typically between $15 - $30), so if you’re moving a large amount of money, you’ll save on fees by transferring directly from your bank. Wire and online transfers also allow you to transfer more money at one time than using a third party service like PayPal or Western Union. If you’re sending money to a foreign bank, you’ll need information from the recipient, including the name and address of their financial institution, as well as a SWIFT or IBAN number. PayPal PayPal is a solid option for transferring money to foreign accounts, but does come with more fees than most wire or online transfers. For transactions under $3,000, you’ll pay a 2.9% fee, plus a $0.30 per transaction charge. Larger transfers incur less of a fee, but are more restricted. If you want to make a larger transaction, you’ll have to go through additional identity verification steps. Western Union Western Union charges a flat rate for transferring money to another account. Their fees are typically higher than those at most banks and credit unions. You’ll also be charged an exchange rate on transfers made on international funds. Unfortunately, most Western Union foreign transactions don’t receive a favorable exchange rate. Best Foreign Exchange Options for Currency Trading Currency trading is a complicated, fast-paced business. If you’re looking for a forex broker, consider one of the following options. Oanda Oanda is a strong trading platform that offers a large selection of currency pairs (90+). Oanda is friendly to newer traders, as it has a $0 account minimum and no requirements for minimum trade lot. Oanda also had the lowest spread markup on commissions across the seven major currency pairs. Ameritrade TD Ameritrade is the leader in currency exchange, with an unmatched selection of currency pairs and lots of tools for investors. Trades will be subject to commissions, however, and TD Ameritrade has an account minimum of $2,000. Best Options for Buying and Selling Foreign Cash in the US Back from your trip with lots of foreign cash still in hand? Consider these methods for buying and selling foreign currency in the United States. Your Bank Banks will likely offer you the best deal on buying back currency, but may not buy back all types of currency. Airport Kiosks If your bank won’t buy back your money, airport kiosks will buy almost all types of currency. But, you probably won’t get a great exchange rate, but at least you won’t be stuck with cash you can’t use! Current Currency Exchange Rates Check out the chart below for current currency exchange rates, as well as the current currency exchange rate at Travelex. Note, rates are constantly changing. I included these so you could see how the Travelex rate differs from the stated daily exchange rate. Currency Exchange Rate ($1 USD =) Travelex Rate Canadian Dollar 1.3274 1.1757 Mexican Peso 18.00027 15.9987 European Euro 0.8934 0.8146 British Pound 0.7814 0.7141 Chinese Yuan 6.84 6.0283 Japanese Yen 111.28 98.9324 Australian Dollar 1.32 1.1639 Russian Ruble 59.45 49.9108 Swiss Franc 0.9693 0.8741 South African Rand 12.91 11.1990 In Summary Changing money can be a complicated, but necessary process. If you’re exchanging your currency, you’ve got a number of different options, depending on how much money you need and which currency you’re exchanging. Be sure to do your research or risk getting saddled with unexpected and hefty extra fees.

Eng Blog rev..JB Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 250 words

Eng Blog rev..JB - Essay Example Being a firm believer in the power of play he believes that everything should not just be educational and erudite in nature. The blog reveals that the boys have been having fun with ginormous cardboard box made of a space ship, race car, and sailboat, animal shelter among other rough and rugged toys. The blog also reveals an observation by the blogger that ‘girl’ toys, on the other hand, are rupturing with unicorns, spectra, sparkles, charms, toothy smiles, tulle and fluff. The ‘girl’ toys in the blog are reflected as having that nauseating pink too. Greatest things in life are cultured at a tender age. Play forms a greater premise for learning these behaviors that influence how an individual will take to challenges in life. The blog reflects a scenario where girls are relegated to the kitchen and boys nurtured through dirt and noise. â€Å"The toys geared towards boys are so jacked up with testosterone, and I find myself putting out my chest in a semblance of manliness,† says the blogger in description of boy toys. He again defends the clear gender delineation by say that kitchen stuff is all pink and shiny. From the commentary, it is manifest that the community has defied the real change intended through gender equality campaigns by failing to consider the real seeds of gender inequality. Much should, for this reason, be done to incorporate our actual take of the girl and boy child through play if we have to achieve real gender

Summary of reading Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words

Summary of reading - Essay Example Whereas traditional marriage gets support from majority of the people, whether other forms like Gay and Homosexual marriages deserve discrimination and should be deprived of their fundamental right to marry and beget children as per the procedure they choose? Dent, though a strong supporter of the traditional marriage acknowledges their fundamental right and freedom to choose their life-partner and above all the freedom to love the individual of their choice. If one is to summarize the article in a few sentences, this is an important observation by George Dent. He argues, â€Å"If the government treats traditional marriage as the norm, citizens are also more likely to view it that way than they would if government treats traditional marriage as but one of many equally valid choices" (p. 421). Deviation from the joint family and nuclear family has socially turned out to be disastrous all over the world, particularly in America. That the divorce rate has crossed 50% is the grim indication and the worst scenario that has engulfed the American society. At the same time, there is a section of the society and the leadership that favors gay marriages. Historically the same sex marriages have been resented and they think it is a "caricature of the real thing...an insult to a relationship that they consider to have a sacred as well as a legal dimension" (p. 425). What is the ground reality related to such marriages? Homosexual couples will not b e able to procreate, and they cannot have the marriage ceremonies performed as per cultural and traditional standards, it is at the most a social or a club event. With no emotional commitment, the agenda behind such marriages is to get some financial benefits. But the paradox is they can have the benefits through other fair alternatives. One of the prime objectives of the institution of marriage is to beget children. That is not possible for the homosexual

Explanatory Synthesis on Gunsmoke :: American Culture Essays

Explanatory Synthesis on "Gunsmoke" Gunsmoke the radio program, which aired on the CBS Radio Network, was first broadcast on April 26, 1952 and the final broadcast aired on June 18, 1961. During its nine year radio run, Gunsmoke would air 413 radio stories and six of the seasons would coincide with Gunsmoke the television series. Many of the original cast members of the radio show would go on to have memorable television careers: William Conrad, who played Matt Dillon, went on to play in "Cannon", "Nero Wolfe" and the "Fat Man", from "Jake and the Fat Man". Parley Baer, who played Chester, would go on to play Darby in the television show "Ozzie and Harriet", and Howard McNear, who played the doctor, would go on to play Floyd the Barber in the old "Andy Griffith Show" (http://comp.uark.edu/~tsnyder/Gunsmoke/gun-radio.html). Gunsmoke sought to capture the essence of the west and those individuals who would tame it. Matt Dillon was a hard-bitten, independent, self-reliant and just law man. His character summed up all of t he stereo-typical ideas of the old west hero. As with many men on the move west, Matt Dillon is driven by a need for independence and self-reliance. As a law man Matt was dedicated to making sure that justice was served in the ruff and tumble town of Dodge City. The episodes; "Cyclone", "Pussy Cats" and "Jay Hawkers" all give examples of those characteristics. To not be beholdin' to any person, to feel the sun on his back and the wind in his nostrils, that was freedom. In "Cyclone" Matt is thinking through a problem regarding the sale of a ranch and the subsequent disappearance of the owners. He doesn't want help from anyone in trying to solve the mystery. In "Pussy Cats", Chester offers to stay behind with Matt when a sticky situation develops with two strangers in town. Matt tells Chester to leave because he would be okay without him. In "Jay Hawkers" Matt is summoned to join a Texas cattle herd that is being harassed by Jay Hawkers. In the narration he describes the wide open space of the prairie and the smells of the green g rass. There is a hint of nostalgia in his voice about missing the freedom of the open prairie. Self-reliance is another characteristic of the men of the old west; In "Cyclone" Matt and Chester head off into the night to reconnoiter the Cyclone Ranch for signs of mischief.

Hiram Miller Essay

I. Basic Problem The Hiram Miller Office Products Division does not have an adequate main warehouse facility to support the operations of their business. This is seen throughout the company causing problems with inventory levels, shipping/receiving, and workforce levels. Both the available space outside the warehouse and the building itself are significant problems. II. Support for the Basic Problem Insufficient dock space had more than one second order causal problem. Demurrage and redelivery charges had to be paid, lead time had to be increased by 2-4 weeks on full truck shipments, and larger inventory safety stocks were needed because there were not enough docks to accommodate the shipment load. The charges hurt the company directly with financial losses, the longer lead time meant the company had to rely on forecasting more heavily, and extra safety stock results in unnecessary usage of warehouse space. Trucks were forced to line up in the street, violating traffic rules, which had to be compensated by bribing police officers. This cost the company money and was unethical. The lack of dock space also caused outgoing shipments to be delayed because there was no room to drop a trailer which meant longer lead times for the customers. Weak floors, low ceilings, and the use of elevators created major inefficiencies within the warehouse. Not being able to use forklifts increased the amount of people needed to move merchandise and added time to the unloading/loading process. Pallets couldn’t be stacked with low ceilings so the space sitting inventory used up could be used for other purposes. Animosity between workers is never beneficial to a company and the presence of elevators means that people are continually fighting over who gets to use it, which caused constant battles. III. Alternate Recommendations My first recommendation is to improve the existing building on Jefferson Street by enforcing the floors to allow the use of forklifts. This would cut down on the labor force and make moving merchandise faster, but wouldn’t help the lack of dock space. The company could attempt to buyout land around the Carpenter Street warehouse, renovate it, and use as the main warehouse. This would provide more dock space but could be difficult if no one is willing to give up their land. The Jefferson Street warehouse could be redone to create more docking area, less warehouse square footage, and higher ceilings so that such high inventory safety stock isn’t necessary and merchandise could be stacked higher. This would preserve the company’s current prime location but would be difficult to complete because of the heavy traffic of daily shipments. IV. Best Recommendation The best solution is to build a new warehouse on the thirty acres available. While it’s being constructed, the Jefferson Street warehouse could still be in full operation. There would be more space for docking, customer parking, higher ceilings, and the ability to use forklifts and rail possibly could benefit the company tremendously. V. Methods of Implementation Plans for the number of docks, employees, material handling systems, and office space would be needed. The company’s budget would have to be looked at for inefficiencies with simple fixes in order to fund the project more feasibly. Analysis would be needed in order to gauge the customer’s reactions as well as the cost-savings benefit of becoming much more efficient.

Humans Are Responsible For Global Warming - 2056 Words

Son T. Chau Professor Hansen ENGWR 302 November 1, 2016 First Draft Humans are Responsible for Global Warming On November 8th, American citizens will go to the polls and vote for the next president of the United States. During the presidential campaign, both candidates, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, have their own different points of view on environmental issues. Hillary Clinton affirms her commitment to the fight against climate change. She supports the Paris Agreement, which is an agreement among many nations to respond to the threat of global warming and to reverse the worst effects of climate change. Donald Trump, by contrast, does not believe that the shift in the climate is a manmade disaster. He claims that global warming just is a hoax and current global warming is just a part of a natural cycle that is naturally occurring. Donald Trump, then, promises to dismantle the agreement if he becomes the U.S. President. It is important to note that many people and scientists share this same belief with Trump, protesting that global warming is a natural phenomenon. The debate between Hill ary Clinton and Donald Trump raises an important issue. Are people primary responsible for global warming? Social Tension of the 1920s and Nativists Free Essays

Christopher Nieves The social tension of the 1920s was to a large extent due to backlash from Nativists and the KKK towards immigrants. With the immigrant surge threatening jobs and tainting the white Anglo-Saxon society, the idea of nativism began to proliferate through the minds of native born Americans. Social conflicts often came to violent ends by the hands of members of the â€Å"Ku Klux Klan†, they too had a nativist mindset however they focused primarily on African Americans but harbored hatred towards anyone who is not of Anglo-Saxon descent. We will write a custom essay sample on Social Tension of the 1920s and Nativists or any similar topic only for you Order Now These two movements made for a dangerous society, and made matters even more difficult for penniless immigrants trying to survive. Starting up around 1890 but plateauing in the 1920s nativists and labor unions fought for immigration restriction. In 1921, an emergency immigration act was passed which established a quota system that decimated the amount of immigrants granted access to the States. America had never before seen such a surge of immigrants before, over 25million people over the course of thirty years, and this was the first time that Italians, Poles, Jews and Slavs had come to America in mass. Nativists worked to do anything they could to belay immigrant progress in society, and with the economic prosperity of the twenties they realigned their beliefs behind religious and racial nativism. Following the First World War, nativists throughout the twenties focused their attention of Catholics, Jews, and southeastern Europeans. These people were different than the immigrants that had come before in that they had much more difficulty assimilating with the language barrier and even in appearance. Difficulty communicating made getting a job and education much more difficult and for Hasidic Jews stood out with their distinct religious garb. When the migrants from England and Ireland and the like came over they could communicate much easier with Americans which significantly helped them out. Well over half of the American population before the immigrant surge could trace their lineage to either the British Isles or to Germany, these people also tended to be fair-skinned and Protestant. The racial concern of the anti-immigration movement was closely linked the eugenics movement that was gaining popularity in the twenties. Nativists grew more concerned with the racial purity of the United States, uch groups as the Ku Klux Klan were able to flourish as a result of this movement. The rebirth of the KKK or the second Klan was strongly due to the anti-immigrant attitude of America in the twenties, as it had basically died out after the civil war. They also tended to view the darker-skinned, Catholic or Jewish new immigrants as â€Å"inferior† and lacking the Anglo-Saxon temperament required to maintain a free society. F urthermore these â€Å"threats to society† lacked work ethic, self-discipline and could not be trusted not to throw their votes away to machine politics which were largely successful during this time period. The film The Birth of a Nation was released in 1915 glorified the KKK, and although its director didn’t intend to, the film helped gain the Klan popularity. At first the Klan like it always had focused on intimidating blacks, however focus turned towards Catholics, Jews and foreigners. The Klan devoted itself to purging American life basically of anyone not a white Anglo-Saxon, proving their devotion by lynching impure, foreign people and burning crosses. To say this hate was group engaged in â€Å"social conflicts† is an understatement. The economic prosperity of the â€Å"roaring twenties† overshadowed its escalating social tension. Although America was colonized by immigrants, the â€Å"nativist† movement worked to throttle immigration and ostracize migrants viewing them as impure and inferior. The hypocrisy of the entire movement is incredible. Extremist groups like the KKK took racism to a new level resorting to medieval tactics like lynching and cross burning. Listo Systems the Challenge of a Growing Organization free essay sample

The Challenge of a Growing Organization Defining the Context Listo Systems, one of the world’s top graphic service companies, was established in the 1990s when technological advancements were increasing and creating a more competitive market. After going through a period of great success and growth, the company decided to hire a number of new employees and adding new layers of managers and supervisors. Defining the Key Issues or Problems The main issue is that Listo Systems has been growing too quickly, and the company has not been able to cope with this growth appropriately. Due to this situation, causal variables such as lack of proper training for new employees, management becoming less concerned with workers’ opinions and more concentrated on production and profit have eroded. As a consequence, there has been a lack of clearness regarding the company’s objectives and goals, and as a result of this there have been intervening variables such as decreasing employee motivation and productivity which provoked personnel turnover rate to increase and amount of sick days taken doubled. Applying Concepts Organizational Level 1: Key Players (Stakeholders) and Business Ideas (Purpose) In this level, â€Å"(†¦) implementing business ideas in the internal and external environment is affected by the stakeholders, key players, or factors whose helping or hindering roles determine success or failure to the organization. † This level involves establishing, refining and monitoring the vision of the company so it can synchronize stakeholders and key players with the business ideas and purpose of the organization. Listo System’s vision statement mentions that the company aims â€Å"to be recognized as a leader in supplying quality graphic design products and services (†¦) and to be respected by our clients and staff. † They also mentioned that they plan to do so by developing superior graphic design products and services for clients through state-of-the-art technology, innovation, teamwork, and leadership. Even though the company has well defined aims and goals, elevated personnel turnover and lack of proper training for new employees has caused workers to detach from the company’s objectives. In order to make sure that everyone (employees and key shareholders) is aware of the company’s goals and objectives, these should be re-established. In order to make workers stay focused, the goal-oriented behavior theory could be applied. This could be done by using the Hawthorne experiments theory. If the attention is brought back to the workers, they will feel like part of the company once again, and therefore make the company goals their own and attempt to reach these. Also, Homans’s Informal Work Groups will promote this sense of moving together in the same direction. By re-establishing the goals, and maintaining the employees focused and motivated, employees will respect the company. Once employees feel respect for the company, they will gain respect from clients, thus fulfilling the goals set in the vision statement. Organizational Level 2: Entity (Culture) Strategy (Mission) This level finds strategic initiatives carried out within the corporate culture. It involves defining, shaping (publicizing) and energizing the company’s vision by synchronizing the corporate culture and individuals with the strategies and mission. Due to the restructuring Listo Systems went through, employees have become detached from the company’s goals and as a result have become demotivated. In order to improve the coherence between the company’s corporate culture, individuals and the company mission, the stated mission needs to be energized. A concept that must be mentioned here is Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs. If this is applied, the reason why workers are underperforming is because they are not meeting the required level of social, self-esteem and self-actualization needs. This lack of completion of needs is due to the fact that people are constantly leaving the company, which does not allow a proper community to develop. Once this problem is solved, employees will be more motivated as they will feel more comfortable in this new environment of closer friends and trust. This lack of motivation from the employees could also be explained with McGregor’s Theory X and Theory Y. Before, the company was under a Theory Y model, where employees were constantly asked for their opinions regarding direction of the company. Now, management is less concerned with their opinions and more directive orders are being given. If employees are treated in a Theory X way, they will lose the motivation they had as they will feel they are no more than some cogs making the machine run. This will clearly have an impact on the company culture, however, if we want this negative impact to be smaller, we could ask the managers to return to the Y theory form, and inform new managers that this is a theory Y company with some control over goal-oriented employees. This way not only first line worker will feel comfortable, but managers will also feel safe. Once both parties have their needs fulfilled, they will be motivated and will automatically energize the company mission. Organizational Level 3: Departments (Units) Key Results (Success Factors) Level three communicates key results and success factors to the organizational units and department divisions. The leadership challenges at this level are: involving, facilitating, and communicating the vision in order to synchronize organizational units and department division to achieve its goal (key results). Since the restructuring of the company made the workers detach from the â€Å"Listo family† and feel uninvolved, the company should try to make the workers feel more involved again. Once this is done, they will feel motivated to work for the common good again. As individuals start working for the common good, they will become more mature and as a result will be promoted (Argyris’s Maturity Theory). This way, employees will be more involved in the managerial position to which they were promoted, and it will also serve as an example for other employees to follow and look up to. Organizational Level 4: Teams Entity (Groups) Goals (Objectives) Level four suggests that goals are achieved by teams. This is done through focusing, unifying, and connecting the vision. In this particular case, Listo Systems’ main aim should be to connect team members with each other as well as with the team’s goals. Once again, goal-oriented behavior should be applied. This method will help motivate the workers, which will be beneficial for both individuals as well as the company. Also, connecting workers inside groups will help increase performance and as a result motivation. Since the current environment is a Theory X one, workers are in a controlled environment, with a highly structured system. This, according to the theory of interpersonal competence, is causing individuals to maintain only superficial relationships, and as a result not fulfilling their self-esteem and social needs. If management is encouraged to promote group work, workers will have to interact more and become more involved with each other, the decision-making process, and the company. Organizational Level 5: Individuals (People) Tasks (Jobs): In level five, tasks are performed by people. It involves enabling, engaging, and empowering the vision. The proper leadership challenge response to be applied is engaging. As we know, due to the restructuring of Listo Systems, employees have been detached from the company and its goals. Employees are demotivated and because of this they feel like changing jobs. According to the expectancy theory, if the relationship between the amount of effort invested and a task is positive, the worker will be motivated. The complication of the company’s organization and increase in manager layers have made the employees hold a much smaller position. The employee, who was used to putting a certain amount of effort into the job, has less decision-making power and less important position, which decreases the effort/task achievement ratio. This will cause the employee feel less important in turn and as a result less motivated to contribute with his effort. Another theory that could be applied is Herzberg’s Motivation-Hygiene Theory. Since the employees were receiving recognition, this was working as a motivator. Nevertheless, once this recognition from part of the company stopped, there was no extra motivator. Alternative Courses of Action An alternative course of action could be to eliminate some of the manager layers and simplify the organization’s structure. This will increase the level of participation from employees at the bottom of the hierarchy and as a result motivate them. Another option would be to encourage a combination of goal-oriented behavior and promotion of group work. This way employees’ motivation will increase due to self-esteem and social needs being fulfilled, and the sense of belonging to the â€Å"Listo family† will provoke everyone to move in the same sense and aim towards the same goals. Something else that could be done is to give clear individual smaller tasks to each department. A theory Y must be maintained in the way of treating employees at the bottom of the hierarchy, however some of theory X must be applied as employees will need to be subtly controlled and assisted in order for them to reach the department or group’s task. Once again, the Hawthorne Studies theory could also be applied. Employees should be asked for their opinions and make them feel like they are being considered. However, a CII managerial decision style should be used. The problem should be shared with the workers so managers can get their ideas and suggestions, but keep the decision-making part for the top part of the hierarchy, as lower ranked workers might not be able to see the bigger picture. Choosing a Course of Action Listo Systems needs to encourage goal-oriented behavior. This implies that goals must be re-established and made clear. This will help ameliorate workers’ motivation level and as a result their performance. Also, Theory Y must be applied when treating workers at the bottom of the hierarchy. This will fulfill workers’ self-esteem needs, and in exchange energize them to work towards the goal. The company must also promote group work. However, they must aim to connect the individuals’ and groups’ smaller tasks with the main goals the company has. Finally, management must try to keep the employees involved in the decision-making process. Nevertheless, a CII managerial decision style must be kept, this way new ideas and solutions will be brought up by the lower ranked workers, but in the end managers will be the ones making the decisions. This will make employees feel more involved and part of the company. Developing an Action Plan In Organizational Level 1, the company needs to re-establish the company goal and control and support the workers on their way to the goal. Employees at the bottom of the hierarchy will need to be treated in a Theory Y manner, but managers will need to maintain a slight form of Theory X because of the control required. In Organizational Level 2, if the company wants to energize their vision, they will have to energize their employees first. In order to do so, they’ll need to treat their workers according to Theory Y and promote group work to fulfill their social and self-esteem needs. In Organizational Level 3, the company needs to increase the employees’ involvement with the company. In order to do this, management should use the Hawthorne Studies as an example, which also involves treating workers in a Theory Y manner. Group work could also be applied at this level. In Organizational Level 4, Listo Systems needs to connect workers with each other as well as workers’ and work groups’ individual goals with the company’s main goal. In order to do so, goal-oriented behavior must be encouraged. This way, workers will stay focused on goals and productivity will increase. In Organizational Level 5, the company needs to focus on engaging workers in their individual tasks. This can be done through goal-oriented behavior and by recognizing the employee’s progress and work, which would work as a motivator for them. All these changes would improve overall performance of the company and maintain the same level if employees are kept motivated properly. As a result, employee satisfaction would also increase, decreasing the personnel turnover, also maintaining the company’s goals clear for the satisfied employees.
